C-61.1, r. 7 - Regulation respecting aquaculture and the sale of fish

1. In this Regulation,
“baitfish” means fish intended for use as bait for fishing and whose use is provided for in section 15 of the Quebec Fishery Regulations, 1990 (SOR/90-214), made under the Fisheries Act (R.S.C. 1985, c. F-14); (poisson appât)
“keeping in captivity” means any keeping in captivity, except where fish caught during sport fishing activities are kept in captivity at the fishing site for the duration of the fishing activities; (garde en captivité) and
“aquarium fish-keeping” means the keeping in captivity, breeding or production of fish in an artificial environment from which they cannot get out without human intervention, except activities carried out under a licence to operate a breeding pond, a fish-tank for baitfish, or carried out by the holder of a licence issued under the Act respecting commercial aquaculture (chapter A-20.2).
